      ... pretty amazing pork dishes as well so might just have to wait till Munich. The rest of the night was filled with drinking in a local park playing card games until we realised it was nearly 2am and we had a bus to catch in the morning.

      We reluctantly said goodbye to Tom and Caitlin but knowing we would be seeing them soon enough in Croatia which was coming up so quickly!!

      Vienna was next and I had no idea what to expect.

      ... her stables. If this horse does move, he is going to be in heaven going from this beat up old place, to Martinas stables (that I would even live in as a human). I am meeting up with Nikola tomorrow at lunch for my day off, goign to an outdoor concert with her, and possibly going out for my first night ever in Prague (I will have to take a taxi home though, so this should be interesting)! Anyway, that is a LOT of recapping. Here are some pics! ...

      ... able to, at least once in their lives. Because there are supposedly so many rules and regulations regarding probably the most important trip of their lives, they really didn't want to mess it up when it came to the real deal. Did look very unusual, to say the least.

      We had a couple of hours in transit at Kiev, so, stepping down on the tarmac we did our internal Ukrainian dance, political upheaval ...

      ... is from the tower because then you can't see the tower. In the evening we were taken to enjoy the local food, music and dancing. It was a great evening with everyone being encouraged to drink the beer and wine and participate. There were groups from other countries too so it was a noisy evening. We Kiwis managed to make ourselves heard. Three hours of frivolity. I have discovered that I can video too but don't know whether they can be attached but will ...

      ... up being the case and that the river is cresting by now. This city is too beautiful to be flooded.

      Breakfast this morning was at a small little cafe, not necessarily the most ideal choice, though it was recommended by our hotel. I had apple struedel and a latte machiatto (not the hot chocolate I wanted cause the worker couldn't find it). It was still delicious, regardless. Plus, I was way more distracted by the music videos on the TV as well as ...
