... at the Christmas Market, do some shopping and then return to the hotel. We gather again at 3:30pm to return to Prague Castle and our 4:30pm Gala Concert of famous works by Smetna, Mozart, Vivaldi and others. The soprano who sings Ave Maria is awesome!

We take a tram back down the hill and some return to the hotel for dinner, while others set out to walk across the Charles Bridge again at night, with the illuminated Prague Castle in the background. It is ...

We feasted on more Czech cuisine for lunch/dinner at "Lokal" sharing the fried cheese with homemade tartar sauce, fresh salad with chicken, chicken with ...

... well as a cathedral, some museums, and other buildings. That early in the morning, it was very empty and I had the place mostly to myself and the occasional other tourist. Despite there being nobody there, they still do the whole hourly changing of the guards ceremony thing. I basically got my own, personal guard changing ceremony. It was pretty cool.
Even with nothign open, it still took me hours to walk around the grounds and see what there was ...

... the atmosphere was magical. Everywhere we went was beautiful. Cobblestone and colorful buildings; castles and hills; rivers and snow; all of it was breathtaking. We walked across the oldest bridge (St. Charles) and saw the astronomical clock within Old Town Square. Everything was/is unique. The people were nice and the walking was a good way to work off all the heavy food.

Long story short, for the people thinking about traveling to Europe, be sure to stop by Prague. ...
