... he was surprisingly accepting of requests to intersperse his DJ selection (he put on some J-Kwon and even T-Swift for us). But the overall theme of the night was metal: overwhelmingly, imposingly, deafeningly so.

Conversation with Metalman proved to be disappointingly droll, however. He seemed far more content to head thrash and scream than use words. I suppose it was for the better, though. Sometimes it's easier to remember these random extras from your travel experiences as ...

... Prague, we only have 1 full day left after being here a day and a half, but the highlight so far was the Beer Tour, and it wasn't for the tasting of 9 different beers, but more the conversations we had with Czech Cale. Tomorrow we set off for Dubai at 3.45 pm. the European Vacation is almost over.

Ofcourse this got our attention, Kitto and I had been craving a meat pie for ages. In Europe, their pies are made from filo pastry filled with cheese and spinach, good, but not an Aussie meat pie. So we asked this guy, Ash, about his pies. It turns out he made short cut pastry meat pies, just like back home ...

... Ours was 300ck but some of the guys got charged 500ck and even 750ck! They serve these things called a boat here. They had them in Venice too. It's a plastic boat shaped thing that hold 6 bottles of red bull and a bottle of vodka in the middle. It all gets mixed up and everyone has a straw. I didn't get in on that, but I did when the one with OJ came out. Other guys sunk a few boats. It was a big ...
