    Most of the people we have met have been very helpful and friendly and I have been particularly amused by the art of towel folding in hotels - see pictures. This seems to be a very Latin American thing but the Yucatan's efforts have surpassed the rest.

    ... locates me exactly 2/3 of the way there. It's 8.45am. Pretty thirsty. I come out onto the penultimate street, but not where I expected to be. I ask in a shop for directions.
