... We laid around and soaked up the sun for a few hours and had a wander around the surrounding area. There was a statue that explained the origins of the first ever Greek person that landed in Florida. The whole place was really well kept and made even the best seaside town in the UK look like Blackpool.   We jumped back in the car and headed towards the awesomely named Treasure Island beach. ... It's now 9:45 and we are ready to call it a night.
What a quick (6 days), enjoyable trip. Not only did we see FSU play and win in Cowboy Stadium, we visited 3 Presidential Museums, 5 major college campuses, visited the Texas State Capitol building and Austin, ate a lot of wonderful Tex-Mexican food while driving over 680 miles. I should also add that Ms. Sally did all the driving while I served as navigator. She did a wonderful job piloting our craft.
