Tis the night before flight, only 1 creature remain stirring, while the other is with wine and close to his sight blurring. ... more planes landed after we did. We got out of the plane and the sunshine kept us warm. We took photos and marveled at the beauty around us. This was truly the very best part of our entire trip. Those views are forever etched in my brain. We stayed on the glacier about 20 minutes, then our plane took off first. We explored the scenery for another 20 minutes and returned to Healy and landed smoothly. We returned our glacier boots, thanked Zach for a fantastic trip ...

... to the beach just across the street from the hotel, and spent the afternoon there. It was great, nice and warm with a gentle breeze. The sand is a fine white powder type...not grainy at all.
