Great Hostel with large clean rooms and a good bar. Only a couple of faults - the shower timer is very short and there are no kitchen facilities. There is a jug and microwave available however.

Good place to rest your head

Me and a friend stayed at the CityStay for 2 nights in June in a twin room.

The check in process was quick, the room was clean and beds were comfy. The shared facilities (toilets and showers) were always clean and there were plenty that there was never a wait.

The hostel is in a good location, within walking distance of Alexanderplatz station and not far from museum island and Brandenburg Gate.

All in all for the price you pay its a no thrills hostel that is clean and i would recommend to any one and defiantly stay again.

For the most part, everything at Citystay was good. Only negatives are that there is not kitchen and the wifi does not work in the rooms.

I slept so well here, so clean and good staff. Bar is great, location unbeatable. Checking in with a group of people was the only downside - cash only payments took over an hour. Otherwise 5**

Today is freezing! And raining. So what better way to spend the day than on a 4 hour walking tour? We man-up and head out clutching hot beverages like its gold. Our tour guide is Barry, another pink-faced pale-haired loud Irish lad. He apologises that he can only produce 'gay' Hans German accents. He doesn't have an umbrella or gloves and has a …

      Hey Y'all how we doing

Last place we left off we had just finished our AmserDayyyuuuum trip and wow those beds were fantastic.

There were a few bleary faces on the bus and lets say that we were glad they weren’t ours. Our guide was too chirpy for us and I don’t know how they handled it. As we neared the …

Today was a day of exploring Berlin by ourselves. For those of you that do not know, the bear is Berlin's mascot. There are statues and figurines everywhere over the city. They are commonly decorated with different designs ranging from attractions in the city to flag, money etc. The first stop on our exploration was the Memorial to the Murdered …

      Guten Morgen (good morning),

It's not raining! I plan to immerse myself into modern Berlin today by selecting a street art and graffiti tour and workshop run by a kiwi. I probably should have gotten a few tattoos or extra piercings to fit in better. It was either that or dress up like the girls from Manchester in Granny wear for a Hens …

After a 7 hour train ride and finding our hostel the day was gone. The German accent is very ******* the ears and though they speak some English our accents are difficult for them. We are lead wrongly by three different locals to the location of our hostel. The handy wee google maps GPS dot that works without wifi was extremely …
