      Cheap, budget, comfortable!

Whilst there is nothing spectacular about this hostel it is very affordable and definately the place to stay if you are on a budget.

If you want to stay in the Old City it is very close to Jaffa Gate (the main entrance) The staff are very friendly and helpful and the beds are comfortable, The hostel also has a terrific view from the roof (where you can also sleep)

The bathrooms are definately a downside - they are very very small, often with wet floors and aren't always the cleanest but if you can get past that then it's definately a good place to stay on a budget. (There is okay wifi down in the lobby and second floor also)

good location in the old city and great views from the top...way too cramped though...they squeeze bodies pretty much anywhere and everywhere. I'm surprised there wasn't someone sleeping on the reception desk! Kitchen was so-so, good atmosphere but many youngins...we left after 3 nights to stay somewhere else which was much more spacious...

I woke up with the worlds stiffest neck but I still felt it had been worth staying at the airport instead of going back to Amman. I brought breakfast at the café and patiently waited until the baggage sectors opened so I could try my luck with my bag one last time. After several hours I stood and sighed, ready to start the bag retrieval process …

      Day 13: Haircuts and Perfection

(Day 13, Jerusalem) Sunday is a workday in Jewish Jerusalem, so it was back to regularly scheduled programming: sightseeing, in what is called the National District, a hilly ridge in West Jerusalem, where national institutions and government offices are located. We started at the Israel Museum (passing through the usual security and weapons chec...
