I had a small room for two people with an en-suite. I had it to myself for two nights, and shared on the third. I paid a dorm rate of P$30 per night, which seemed very reasonable for what I got, and the quality of the hostel. There are plenty of nice communal parts to relax in, and great views at the top. It's just a short walk into town. The staff were friendly. Decent breakfast, although it finished a tad early at 9.30 and I missed it one day. There was a pretty relaxed atmosphere about the place, while not feeling too quiet.

Thank goodness we get to sleep in today. After our mildly warm shower, heated with an electric coil in the shower head we were ready for our breakfast. It was only jam and buns, but we ate as many as we could. We stayed at a more mature, low key hostel, right in the heart of Miraflores. Without leaving ourselves any time to explore the area, we are …
