... first thing, including a posse of Chinese race walkers banging out laps. Interestingly (shush) the race walking course is now much shorter than it used to be and they do laps. They used to have a course like a marathon one, but it was too bad for credibility, plus people would only get red carded when near the stadium, soul destroying. Yesterday we went and spent all day at the Hermitage, which is obviously not enough to see all of it since it's the 2nd biggest art museum in the world (the 1st being the Louvre). Then we took the overnight train to Moscow.

... St Basil's Cathedral at night whilst the remainder of the group headed out on the lash.

Up and out early on our second day leaving the hostel at 10am. We headed off to Ismailov Kremlin, an old abandoned wooden theme park which was then turned into a large flea market. ... pretty easy to find. I checked into the hostel and added a few more layers before heading out to explore the sights. The hostel is really well located, and only took about 15 minutes to get to Red Square (now that I am better orientated, it's actually only a 5 min walk). ... The main objective of the next couple of days was to secure train tickets for our trip to St. Petersburg on Wednesday. This is supposed to be a simple task, but as we soon found out, not in Russia. But before that I needed a cup of coffee so we stopped in an average coffee shop for just a regular cup of coffee to go. How much you ask? $6!!!! Honestly I don't know how these people afford to live here!
