... reached the village of Oandu and the Lahemaa Forest Centre. On Henry's advice, I asked to watched a 15minute video presentation on the park which was very interesting. The woman in the centre gave me lots of info on the park. On a whim, I asked her if she had any insect repellant and luckily she had some that someone had left there that I could take with me. Probably wasn't the best stuff (made sure it wasn't DDT) but I figured better than nothing.

There is an area below the walls called 'Deer Fall' where a Danish king was reputedly chasing a deer. It jumped to its death into a waterfall. Sten clearly liked this little historical anecdotes.

Pulled into Tallinn & it is freezing & drizzling rain. A long walk to the tour guides & we are still trying to keep warm. More to follow. Great medieval city with some beautifully restored buildings & a lot of history. Still in place is the old wall & bastion of the old castle with the old & new towns. ... Thursday on board all day was excellent. Beautiful sunshine,we spent all morning on deck. Second Romanov lecture after lunch did not disappoint it was about Rasputin very creepy stuff. Altogether a very good day.

And now we are up to date in Tallinn where the sun has just come out and Thomas is impatient with how long this is taking so I will post it . Maybe more later,don't know yet.
