I really enjoyed my time in this place - really great vibe and helpful staff. The communal area was very conducive to meeting up with like travellers and comparing experiences.

This is a great hostel, I've stayed in plenty all over the world and this is one of the best. Good facilities, good rooms/beds, good location, good food/drink, good staff. I stayed longer than I'd planned because of the hostel.

Lazy Bones in the heart of Chengdu

LazyBones was great - comfortable quiet room - good bathroom - spacious communal area with outside garden for the smokers. The young staff were always helpful and knowledgable. Really convenient area - great food in the back lane - across the road from the Metro and close to busses. Walking distance from many places of interest. We soon got good at ducking down quiet lanes to avoid really busy roads.

We get to the park and head to the large adult enclosure. …

We arrived in Chengdu with the sole purpose of visiting Sophie's first choice China tourist destination – the Giant Panda breeding centre. Luckily Chengdu is the capital of the Sichuan province so we had lots of fiery Sichuan cuisine to look forward to as well. The city has a mere 14 million people but seemed more chilled out than previous …
