... the American way and then check out a premiere for the newly released 'Get Hard' with Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart. So there we stood, a safe licking distance away from the celebrity red carpet awaiting the stars. To be honest, as interesting it was to be at a premiere, it really just highlights the divides of LA. Well, I had a new plan. If we got up really early and left early, maybe we could hit the Green Sand Beach on the way to the airport by going south rather than going through Hilo and then west. Kara agreed so we set the cell phone alarm for 7 am.

At 2:49 am, my cell phone rang. Before I could tell what it was, it stopped. It was the dentist returning my frantic call about rescheduling my appointment because I was afraid I ...

... slowest guy at the turnstile ever and lots of people were jumping ship into other lines........ and that still didn't make it any quicker. We finally got through the gates and went over to pick up Dale and Mitch's Flash Pass's which gets them practically to the front of the line on nearly all the rides. This would be a great advantage as it is quite busy being the week of thanksgiving, lots and lots of people. We had a bit of a wager going on ...
