So once we got back from the tour, I jumped on the subway and took the red line to Union Station and then changed to the gold line which is above ground to go back to Chinatown for a good look.
... were sadly not beaten and I still woke up regretting the many margaritas from the night before, but we threw on our gym clothes and headed to Runyon Canyon for a hike and hopefully celebrity spotting! (everyone who's anyone does this track) No celebrity spottings, but we had a great hike up to the top and around the Canyon, probably good to get our butts moving and burn some of our american treats off!

I think I could have happily passed the entire evening there but out on the streets there were hare krishna drummers/dancers...artists painting outside the galleries and people everywhere. After the gold coin hunt, they returned all of their coins for bead necklaces and balloon swords and watched a Peter Pan cartoon in the fun zone theatre until their parents came.
Near the end of the cartoon, one kid threw up from seasickness so we had to dive into our vomit protocol and move all of the other kids to our empty 'family room'/'jr. shockwaves room' for the rest ...
