... yet another crazy time in the morning (you can see a theme developing here). I was not blown-away by the town. Given that it has such a big appeal and reputation amongst backpackers, I was excited to check it out. But unless you were planning to go diving or sailing, there wasn't much to do. A couple of highlights, however, were a visit to the Tropical Zoo where I got the ultimate tourist picture taken of me holding a Koala, and learning how to throw boomerangs and spears ...
... And then the following day we went to Phillip Island to do several things but mostly, LOOK AT PENGUINS.
We had a free morning and a trip to the National Sports Museum and Melbourne Cricket Ground. (Same building if you'd believe it.)
And then we took a 10 hour bus ride to Canberra the day after that (which also means yesterday)
and today we dealt with Canberra. And I'll explain later what 'dealt' with means.

Janice as we had no idea about this part of the public transport. Oh it's fun being a tourist and not knowing what's the "norm"! No buying tickets at the station like you do in Perth. With our concession cards, it worked out to be only $6.00 for us. Is that right Janice? Seems very cheap for both of us to ride in and back out, plus any trams, although we did catch ...
... to many photos to imagine with my camera roll being full I couldn't take anymore pics, so I decided I had my fun, and although I still didn't get to see all the cars and vehicles on show I was still happy, enjoying life by doing what I want and having fun whilst so.
It was around 7:30pm when I got out of the motor show, and decided I would get some food in the city and head back to the motel.
