The whole stretch of road on Copacabana beach was closed off and the only traffic was people traffic, jogging, walking, roller-blading, cycling, doing all forms of activity they possibly could. It was brilliant and I think I’m going to suggest to Boris when I get home that he should close off all the roads along the River Thames to allow more of the same in London! Today it is a holiday here, the weather is wonderful, sunny and warm, so for sure, do not go to the beaches! A friend of Lisa invited us to join her for a visit to the botanic gardens. I am surely in! I love botanic gardens!
