It was decent. We stayed for two nights and most of the staff don't speak english and it's quite worn down. However the breakfast was better than most hostels and it was quite calm and close to everything and cheap so we got our money's worth.

We stayed in a private room for 2 nights.

This hostel was poorly lit and I'm not sure if the room was ever cleaned.

Although the bikes are advertised as free hire they are $50/day

The older staff were very nice but the younger staff/?cook was not very helpful and generally seemed a bit over it all.

I would skip this hostel and book one on the beach instead.

The ride to Tulum was a bit rough. We could only pay for half the ticket at the Belize bus station. We had to stop to stamp out of Belize, again to stamp in to Mexico, again to get our bags checked by customs and for the last time to buy the second half of our tickets. This was a real pain in the butt. Inside the bus it was freezing cold so we …

Rather than going to the popular resort for American college
spring-breakers, Cancun, we visited Tulum in the Yucatan peninsula in the
Mexican gulf. The place was amazing and we have been to the by far best beaches
of the trip, if not our entire lives here! Other than the beach we also made
some time to visit Mayan ruins as well as …

oh no, its snowing, we get to Gatwick and the most popular word on the departure board is "cancelled". For us its a 3 hr least we are taking off. Landing at Cancun and more trouble...we wait about 40 min on the runway as we cant get a slot. At least our transfer waits for us. We get driven to Dreams Tulum, Resort and Spa where we are ...
