Casa Zen Santa Teresa

Thinking that the waves in Tamarindo had maybe been a tad too easy for us all, we decided to leave Montezumo and the Hostel of Horrors and drive the 10km up to coast to Santa Teresa near Mal Pais where the waves are supposed to be much bigger. And they were .... much much bigger!

... had been robbed.... while 4 people were a sleep in it! Turns out the robbers came in and actually carried out the whole stack of safes in the corner which had a few people most valuable things in it. Quite shocking really. This one poor chap sliced open his foot the other day so he cant surf for his last week and now lost all his cards and passport etc. Evil! ... pga forsikringen. Jeg kom inn i et rom med mange skumle politifolk som bare snakket spansk saa jeg pekte paa meg selv og saa: robar! Fikk forklart meg til slutt med mine fortreffelige spanskkunnskaper saa satser paa at det ordner seg. Ingvild var veldig syk under hele oppholdet i Montezuma. Laa rett ut med matforgifting. Til slutt ble vi saa lei av marihuanaroykende dreadsfolk og kakerlakker paa badet at vi dro videre paa vaar ferd. Pura vida!
