Just starting up
Just starting the blog up, I wanted to see how easy it was and what it looks like. Here are some pictures from my last weekend at Santa Elena (I will have to check the spelling on that) but it is next to Monteverde- the cloud forest. It was really amazing. Check out the awesome fig tree we climbed up, it took up about 70ft into the canopy of the rain forest. Talk about experiencing the jungle!
Monteverde
The journey from Arenal to Monteverde was great and the rain has actually finally stopped! We still weren´t able to get a full view of the volcano, but at least we could see some of it! We were up at 5.45am again in order to be ready for our nature walk. We got picked up and taken to the Monteverde Rain Forest reserve.
