... was stunning. A bit of rain close by even produced a rainbow for us. After 16 hour travel, we finally stopped for a break - we were running late and still had 2 hours to go. An empanada for breakfast almost made up for the delay.

We eventually arrived at 11am and took a taxi to El Poblado with a German guy from our bus. Once again, the driver had no idea where to go and we went round and round the block a few times. Finally, we found the Black ...

... Aquarium and Science Museum. For only 7 we spent 4.5 hours there playing with all the equipment and exhibits and had awesome fun. Some of the items were really creative and the Science museum in London could learn a thing or two.

Well, it started running, and we were all happy.

We like our hotel, despite the few inconveniences we had getting settled into our room.

After travelling over the slums and seeing the tiny concrete buildings the locals live in, places like the botanical gardens are a very important part of this city. Being a Sunday, the place was teeming with a variety of people. We saw ...

We woke up after a restless night. I found the bed comfortable, but there are always unusual noises in a new place. The Metro (above ground subway train) station is across the street about 200 yards away. The train actually goes about 50 yards from our window. Scott woke up with a headache from lack of food the day before and not enough water during the night.

We showered and went downstairs to find the breakfast buffet. A whole group ...
