... they wouldn’t allow us to take the stroller on the Eye unless we folded it. But there was no chance of that because we have a seat liner and foot muff on it. So instead we had to leave it inside behind the service desk. After that we could line up and, thanks to our tickets, we only had to wait a few minutes to get on.

This morning we finally had an early start to the day, left our accommodation at 8:30 a.m. caught the tube into Westminster, the abbey is still closed to the general public until Saturday, due to the Queen's jubilee. We were booked to go on the London eye at 11:00 a.m. so seeing as how we had plenty of time, we went for a walk, and compared the crowd to Sunday’s crowd. In a word there ...
