So, after returning from the mountains, after a quick pie, we got on the Greyhound which took us to Brisbane. John and Ann were picking us up from the bus station and we were a bit early. We started putting our bags together and then I had a quick look around and without either of us realising we were about 2 metres away from each other. We hopped in the car and headed northwards. ... towards another seaside town called Caloundra. A few days back we met a couple who were also in a Jucy camper like us. It was their last night though so they kindly gave us all their excess stuff like gas canisters, they even gave us a boogie board which somebody had passed on to them a few weeks earlier. Met de Ferry, de tent en twee Spaanse mafkootels naar een eiland. Voorbereidingen! Dat doe je toch op de dag zelf! ... beach. you have to be strict with tide times cos if the tide comes in you can be stranded on the beach all night. so the next day we had to back at 12pm, although we didnt make it till 1pm, and again told off. our truck was always unorganised and always late to everything, we nearly missed the ferry back!!! on the second day i drove, oh my god did i poo my pants. we were flying along the beach through the water so it was all comin in the truck and at one point i went over a sand hill ...

... and took them from our hands. At this point there were 6 dolphins and all just playing around. Splashing around on their backs and checking us out. We all swam down the beach for about 45 minutes just almost playing tag with these 6 dolphins. We'd get out run down the beach ahead of them and do it all over.
