The YHA in Airlie Beach is a really tidy place, can't complain about it. As in most YHA, the crowd is a little older and more respectful of others, which we greatly appreciate. However, the activities advertized were not organized like the get together diners or the movie nights. It didn't really bother me that much but at least take down the signs so you don't get people think they pay to stay at some place where stuff is organized.

Some good things are lovely common areas, nice kitchen and breakfast area. Room most expensive I have paid, except for Sydney, and rooms are a bit cramped in the new section. If I had to it it again, I probably would not stay in the room with the ensuite bath.... If you stay on the courtyard side, I think it can be noisy. But I faced out back on the fourth floor and it was fine.

Tour started off with a scenic road trip from Cairns to Mossman Gorge, the southern most point of the Daintree National Park. Thankfully I got to see a massive wild croc along the way in Mossman river. Good job as we didn't see any on the actual Crocodile sighting boat trip. When we arrive at Mossman Gorge we were welcomed to the country and …

There's always one... In every hostel, every club in Brighton, on every beach, in the town... A Mentalist. Usually can be distinguished amongst the rest by the length of their hair, the least amount of clothing worn/a weird combination of clothes, their smell?! Whether their holding a bottle of naughty juice in a paper bag, and if they are shouting …

          ULURU you cheeky buggers!

So, we're here... sweltering like gummy bears in a bag. I've stuck to Mo's arm on more than one occasion, and its lasted around 2 seconds per stick... Which is an impressive amount of time.

Roll on... So New Years eve... My oh my. We started early, cracked open our 'Duty Free' Honey Jim Beamy around 5. …

After our awesome snorkling tour we both thought it was time for a nice relaxing day. So we didn't really plan anything we slept in and spent the day shopping for presents :) It was a nice day and after the driving and the activity day in the Reef we needed some relaxing time. Sometimes it's such a nice thing to just live in the day, not knowing …

Today we went on our snorkling and diving tour. We've picked the Silverswift ship because we could snorkel and dive then I wanted to snorkel and Manu wanted to dive:) The ship brought us to a small reef pretty much on the edge of the Great Barrier Reef and when I say the edge I mean it in the wide range not in the length :) Manu took two …
