    ... shop, but the piece de resistance was that I managed to find a cheesecake made with Baileys Irish liquor. As I mentioned to Nicola in the dorm later, this is the crucial type of language skills that you have to develop early. Never mind how to ask where is the bus station or where is the nearest bank, the essentials are learning that queso de pie is cheesecake and agua sin gas means no fizzy water.

    Apparently St Patrick was a big cheesecake fan.

    Woke up early to a tasty granola fresh fruit breakfast setting us up for our Monteverde wildlife walk.
