    ... of the state and a dream catcher- which Ashley wants to wear in her hair! I am sooooo sad to be having to say goodbye in the morning- they are just the sweetest people! I'm nervous to meet my new family as I don't see how anyone could compare. I also found some hot sauce, I haven't tried it yet, but I hope it does the trick as I am really missing my spicy foods!     ... time in Monteverde in bed, limited to the view (albeit green and peaceful) from their hotel window.  Luckily they improved just enough to travel to San Jose in time for their flight home, though I'm sure it was not the easiest day ever! So it was not our preferred ending to their trip, but we were SO grateful for their visit! We are choosing to revel in the quality time together in Arenal and ultimately laugh ...

    Yee-haw!!! Down the Sarapiqui River we went, and boy did we went!! If our guide, Sevi, had not been so skilled there is no telling. This Class 3 to 4 river did not disappoint in terms of thrills and OMGs. And a few other phrases. It was wild and wooly and we got very wet.
