... to Earls Court where we cashed in our Oyster Cards - such great value - and headed back to the hotel for a shower and freshen up before our farewell dinner!
Today we saw some of the "new" London, which was very interesting and a tribute to the passion that London Lord Mayor Boris Johnston has for this city! It sure made one helluva change from all the old stuff we have seen to date!
So that's our tour just about over - been so good - but we are really looking forward to ...

... she could review the tree and learn more about our shared family. Later in the day Charlotte came in from school and Andy after work. It is now 25 years since our first visit with Kath and Doug and Suzanne and Andy and we have been lucky enough to have three visits since. A special thank you to Kath and Doug for welcoming us again to their lovely home and it is so wonderful to see them looking so well and happy.  We are still waiting ...

... with it but I wasn't very successful to be completely honest. I bought my boyfriend some gifts from London, and also bought my family presents so I don't feel to bad for spending so much money on this trip.

I'm currently sitting in the airport waiting to jump on a really long flight back to Melbourne, not excited to be in a plane this long, wish me luck!

was well in the end and Tottenham won and gained two new fans. Yay!

We then returned to the West End for our second musical (I wish Sydney was like
London, offering more than two musicals a year. Although then all our money
would be spent on musicals, which would be problematic). We were originally

... then we all went to Launchpad where the kids played on all sorts of little science experiments. One of the exhibitions (for the visiting school kids mainly) was to demonstrate the power of water by pumping water into a 2 Litre bottle and then launching it
across the room. The whole class did the countdown.....5....4....3....2....1 and Brody launched the rocket 20 or so metres across the room!! He loved it.
