Spoilt by a Good Friend

... us around the the Tower area. We saw the Tower of London (a castle, rather than a tower!) and walked over Tower Bridge. Mat had told us he had booked dinner, but not where, and as we continued walking it appeared as if we were walking to the Shard. It turns out we were, but I didn't realise it before I opened my mouth and said I wouldn't pay to go up there! Oops! Mat ended up treating us to a very nice evening on the Shard. We ...

... a delicious bun, piled high with salad, delicious sauce, and served with coleslaw and chips. And don’t forget, washed down with beer. Just the thing after a massive trek across London. We checked our watches / phones / FitBits and came the conclusion that in this day so far we’d covered about 14 kilometres. Good work, good work-out!

I sign-posted him to every other organizations I could dig up, as well as several websites that had some information about how to fill out such forms.

This stressed me out. Hearing someone else stressed out about a very complex legal situation, where it seems obvious that they are ...

Tea for Two

... terms of daily expenditure on food, it's not a huge amount extra, I suppose, for a unique experience. This evening we'll have something just to top up our bellies so we don't wake up starving at 3am, so if we keep that cheap, we'll still be on track. The V&A was free, after all, (although we gave a donation) so apart from Afternoon Tea, it was a really cheap day!

Then we looked through a couple more big-name shops, and came home. The End.
