... just felt so simple and chilled-out. While the main beach was often full of tourists, a 10 minute walk down the road brought you to what felt like our own private beach with crystal blue water and peaceful bliss. I then jumped across to the sensational island of Nusa Penida to do some volunteering with Friends of the National Parks Foundation. While enthusiastic to get involved in the wildlife and conservation projects on offer, I found a sad and distinct lack of activities ...

So, Kelly is regarded by a lot of Australians as like, a Robin Hood type figure, (some just see a criminal) and it's funny to think that this judge could both end a man's life and provide this HUGE library! Seems we've been very accommodating since then. We've organised a few dinners/curry/mexican nights with the guys. I was chief curry maker, with my Scottish Assistant, Jess. We made Japattis (inbetween a naan/flat bread), which soon turned into some kind of 'Tabboo' session... (dick & boob shaped japattis). Got some weird, Aussie Farmer family on the go at the moment. Loving every ...

... sun was directly behind them.

We made it to the station in plenty of time and just ahead of the peak hour passengers. Janice bought us a potato cake, a Flinders Street Station tradition it seems. A huge potato fried in batter and covered in salt and vinegar. Not bad I must say.

Soon we were back at Janice's where we had left the Rodeo. We headed straight home and I can tell you I was in bed by 8 o'clock and didn't wake until 8 the next morning. A good day was had by ...
