... have been identified to contain a number of sights or are just pretty within themselves - if you were coming to Australia with no idea what to do you could just follow these for days! On the drive we stopped ad hocly at Fitzroy Falls in the middle of nowhere; both a town and a national park. It was only a short walk from the car park past a running stream in which platypus could be found (we didn't see any) to the falls themselves. ... G and sat with Laurie's high school friend Christine and husband Jason, together with the other Lords and Guy. The children had their faces painted and we watched the Dockers victorious over Melbourne. There wasn't a huge crowd but it was still one of those things to tick off the list. Afterwards we wandered down to the Yarra where there are a number of small bars and had dinner with Christine and Jason.

... to Bridget's house with some £2 bottles of wine! We were making up for last nights poor efforts and went out. First of all though we went went to see Melbourne's resident penguins! I can't say I've ever pre drank whilst observing wildlife before but the penguins were really small and pretty cute. ... to freak us out a bit. But then we arrived at the camp site and there were lots of people around, and there were children which made us a bit better. We chose our spot, set up the tents and then realised we forgot to buy fire wood. So we all went trundling into the forest, looking for any pieces of dry wood that would be good for a fire.
