... loomed over us as we got closer. Eventually we entered the lobby and I was made aware that we were going to the top. My ears popped as the lift moved up at a speed just short of 40 km per hour. Suitcases Packed!

... at the airport by Qantas #1 employee Mala to check us in and make sure we get on the plane ok with our departure scheduled for 9.50am.

We fly direct to LAX (14 hrs 20 min) with a 3hr stop over collect our bags then find our next flight to Washington DC (5hrs). Travel for 22hrs 20 minutes. Sounds pretty straight forward really!

So today is Friday, which means we've survived our first working week in Melbourne (although B hasn't worked at all, and G has only worked 4 days!). Last night we think there was lots of thunder (either that or our neighbours were being ridiculously noisy).
