... computer and there was our Yosemite Half Dome screen saver - Oh! We were there! We know EXACTLY where that photo was taken. I've been meaning to change the pic to personalise it, now it is personalised!! Cool!

An early start today (11.30) when Salve finally decided which trousers to wear. Simone joined us for a trip into Melbourne. Traffic was horrendous.
Went to Docklands which is also home to the Melbourne "Eye". Had nice coffee then we were dragged into an incredibly tacky souvenir shop specialising in Australian treasures such as "Kangaroo Scrotum Bottle Opener". Look out, the few of you who will be the recipients of the delights ...

... was the strangest venue of all. We headed towards China town, following the directions Don had given us. The directions told us to head up Croft Alley. That's exactly what it was an alley full of graffiti at either side. There was no way a bar could be here. Anyway we walked along the dark alley, turned up another dark alley and right at the end of the alley way was The Croft Institute. Walking in just gives you the chills without seeing anything else. ... happy together having been apart for a long time. (HoZ friends, they looked so happy it was somewhat sickening, I spent most of the weekend rolling my eyes at G's sister Kate who has to deal with their loved up ness all the time.)

... venture out to. Mostly because those would have simply been too far to walk to. Quite beautiful was the city's docklands in the south west along the Yarra.
