Sydney - Day 1
... and said "I thought the opera house roof was white not cream" it's cream in daylight. We came back to check in and find our room, first impressions were that we had a very small room and stupid me booked a twin room instead of a double and we had bunk beds. Once we were settled we had our welcome meeting, which didn't really happen and then went to a bar/restaurant called Maloneys and had dinner. ... Ooh and I also saw a wallaby which had a baby in its pouch, which kept peeking out...sooo cute! I also had a 'baa'-ing contest with a goat.
Came back to the hostel and relaxed, dissected the previous night's antics over dinner. Apparently I was 'dominating the dancefloor'....I am THAT cool!
Final day: had to do boring errands including laundry (towel started to smell like a 5 day old dead dog), replacing the camera I broke in ...
En toen waren we al in Sydney
... we bijna flauw van de stank, het was echt niet uit te houden daar! Bah wat een geur.. gelukkig viel het in onze kamer wel mee. Nadat we eindelijk weer een douche genomen hadden en onze spullen hadden geinstaleerd zijn we aan onze tweede dag in Sydney begonnen. Nach langem Quengeln Victors ihn doch bitte zum Pub zu begleiten, zogen wir mit ihm und zwei netten Englaenderinnen im Schlepptau los. Auf dem Weg dahin blieben diese beiden jedoch auf der Strecke, da Victors Beschreibung des Weges doch etwas kuerzer ausgefallen ist als sie tatsaechlich war. Englaender sind nunmal "lazy"...
