    ... with his left leg brace on, the therapists got him to stand up and "walk" down the parallel handrail. Bill burst into tears and I followed. We were overjoyed at the miracle that occurred. This is major!! There is renewed hope that Bill can fully regain the use of his left arm & leg. Now, understand these are baby steps.     Bill has had rough days since his brain tumor was removed this past Wednesday. He was released from ICU later on Thursday and relocated to a regular hospital room. Yesterday, they moved him into another room where he is next to the window with a view. He shares the room with another patient. They have removed his bandages and some of the staples where the temporary head braces were drilled into his skull during surgery. He looks much better cleaned up. He ...

    We were rudely awakened about 7:30 AM (the only morning we actually were asleep at 7:30!) by a sharp knock on the door and a lady informing us we couldn’t have a tent erected here. Too upscale, I guess!
