Day 94: Last Day in Kaohsiung

... Kendo at a training centre which was really cool - it's a branch of samurai so there was lots of sword wielding! Next up, we went down to the port area and visited the former British consulate building which is now an art gallery, shop, and cafe with only a small display explaining the building's history.

... out of the ground due to natural gas coming up through the rocks. We're back at Sam's apartment now and we're going to have a quiet night in. Tomorrow he has some more sightseeing around Kaohsiung planned for us and we're also going to be visiting Ginny's family.

... We got up slightly later than we'd planned today so we didn't get to see quite as much of Taipei as we hoped. First up was Taipei 101, the 2nd tallest building in the world.
