... we are directed to a booth, to another attendant who speaks as much English as we do Hungarian. We give her the ticket and she points to a blank section on the yellow form that came with it, all the while speaking in her mother-tongue. Jonny suggests, "My name?" and points to himself. ... Hop On bus near the imposing Warwel Castle. As we went to the city lookout mound named after Kosciusko, water poured into the bus. The tour took us past the Jewish Ghetto and Schindler's Factory. Then we headed north of the city near the train station, St Florian's Gate and back to the Castle. A welcome lunch was taken at a pizza restaurant. Other than the slight weather delay on Day 1 – and my poor blistered toes – the only other issue we have is at the airport on departure. ... br> We rose early and went to Auschwitz by coach, which was amazing. I went previously when I was 14 but don't remember it very well. It was incredibly sad, especially knowing how these atrocities affected some of my relatives. I will upload photos when I have more time, but out of respect I didnt take too many. We also went over to Birkenau which was 3km up the road and another concentration camp.
