Reached!!

A travel blog entry by rainha

We reached Melbourne airport at 6:45am and waited until 11:50am to transit to Auckland. The long travelling hours made us very tired. Jetstar service average, may be because of budget airline. Quantas had better services if compare and luckily there was on board meal.

We reached Auckland at 6pm. First thing to do is getting ourselves a …

Auckland is bloody huge! I was interested to see what my reaction to Auckland would be when I returned and that is my simple first (re)reaction. It is huge. Also, as I liked Auckland when i first arrived and had yet to meet anyone else who did I wanted to see whether my impression of the city would change having seen the rest of the country. …

Kia Ora!

Go back and try again. The flight on the way up had a Health and Safety introduction by the NZ All Blacks. It was hilarious and involved a naked Granny streaking up the aisle and highlighted not giving out your number to any fans as a phone No-No whilst in flight!

We'd heard of a Kiwi band, The Naked and the Famous, while we've been here, …

Yes Auckland has lots of shops, the Sky City, a …

    Spoilt Heater in Winter

    Reviewed Aug 15, 2011

I stayed at this hostel for 3 days. The unforgettable stuff is the spoilt heater during the winter time. I am not too sure what happen to the heater but I know the 3 nights I am freezing when sleeping.

Other than that, the hostel's location is central and easy to access. 5-10 mins bus ride or even you can walk to the city.
