Billabong is well organized. There is a nice swimming pool outside. The dorms are quite dirty and there is a floor carpet which stinks, but at least there is a bathroom in your room. Located in Northbridge, the perfect neiboorhood to be. Lots of bars and clubs cafés and restaurants!

Staff is very cold. It seems like they just want your money. You always have this feeling that you bother them when asking simple questions and anyways they don't have much of an answer to give to you. They kicked out 12 poeple because they jumped in a pool. Then, they rented their beds nightly price instead of weekly to new people. (To make more money) I didn't felt welcomed and i think that made me think negative about Perth city. Because on the same day, i was taking my plane from Melbourne to Perth and it's the first place i stoped at. I would choose a different hostel next time.

Rung around tours and confirmed my upcoming tours and hostel bookings. Then headed to the travel shop to download all my photos and enquire about Melbourne accommodation. Did a load of washing in the afternoon and re-packed the suitcase- some days I just wish I had a wardrobe to get all my clothes from rather than having to roll all my clothes up and squash them in the case!!! Oh well!

Walked around the Esplanade and did a coastal walk to Kings Park in the morning. Spent a few hours in the park reading before heading back around the botanic gardens to the city. Met the girks for a few drinks in the evening

I did some more sightseeing around the city today! First I headed to 'Bell Tower' - a large rounded building which spears 80 meters into the sky. It was built in 2000 to commemorate the millennium- it contains 18 bells from St Martins Church in Trafalgar Square. As we entered the first level we were given a small tutorial and given the opportunity …

Happy Easter!! This morning I was up bright and early to catch the train to Fremantle as I had researched that there was a big arts festival on over the Easter Weekend (and it was free!!!) the train station was minutes away from the town which made it perfect for seeing all the shows. I headed to the huge 'Fremantle Market' hall first which was …
