One of the better hostels of Australia...

Decent comfy rooms, with the only downside of lack of charging points for 8 people in a room, but that is Australia all over. The kitchen was well stocked no cash deposits for kitchen utensils, friendly and helpful staff, and a opportunity to rent DVDs and watch Foxtel in there TV room. Added bonus for when it gets warm a swimming pool and volleyball court but in the midst of a cold spell that was not needed this time around. Location is nice too, on bus route where it stops right out the door, bit out of town but in the nice neighbourhood there were loads of shops, cafes, bars and supermarkets to wander around.

Billabong is well organized. There is a nice swimming pool outside. The dorms are quite dirty and there is a floor carpet which stinks, but at least there is a bathroom in your room. Located in Northbridge, the perfect neiboorhood to be. Lots of bars and clubs cafés and restaurants!

Staff is very cold. It seems like they just want your money. You always have this feeling that you bother them when asking simple questions and anyways they don't have much of an answer to give to you. They kicked out 12 poeple because they jumped in a pool. Then, they rented their beds nightly price instead of weekly to new people. (To make more money) I didn't felt welcomed and i think that made me think negative about Perth city. Because on the same day, i was taking my plane from Melbourne to Perth and it's the first place i stoped at. I would choose a different hostel next time.

Travel day Wauw I just realized that I started writing this blog in English, which means I'm starting to think in English now. Over geacclimatiseerd gesproken.. Haha.

After the tour finished it was a chance and stay in one place for a few days, before the next leg of the journey took place in Adelaide. I would like to say that I went and viewed all the amazing things that the capital of Western Australia had to offer. Alas, that would be a lie. In fact to be honest what I did was take full advantage of the sofa …
