'Bestplace' in Paddington London

Sometimes I over plan my trips - Gosh like no one else does that! I had the three days in London and instead chose to go to Jersey because I had not been there before. so as a result, had bascially no time to spend in London and very little time in Jersey but still glad I did it. Jersey was cool and someplace to return. London is always fun but this time I saw it all from a transport van. ah well. I ...

... least we got a good view! That evening the rain clouds moved in and it rained for a while. Then a glorious rainbow appeared stretching from one side of the lake to the other - fairy-tale land. ... so outrageous. However, when Claire mentioned to the young man behind the counter that his father (Mr. Altaf, I presume) had told her he would give her a discount, he reduced the price by 18 pounds! 

But some days, even running errands is too much to consider.

That's when I hang out in Claire's kitchen where tonight she's baking a 15-inch vanilla sponge cake to be filled with pistachio nougat frosting and topped with the last of the June roses for ...

... London definetly lived up to the cloudy/dreary/grey description lol. I'm in a flat with 5 other people. Two other guys and three girls! We are in the heart of London (pictures to come) When we got settled we went and got food at a cafe around the bend from the study center, we also went to a store called "Boots" (similar to a Walgreens or CVS) to get convertors for our plugs and shampoo! I'll post some pics later...still getting unpacked and settled.

... 4 aa bats for flash gun, rechargers for all those bats, 20gb ( ish ) of flash memory, 2 250 gb hard drives to back that up, cleaning fluid for senor and more for lens, swabs, two low pro bags, no tri pod wouldnt bother, two card readers, model releases and my eye's... they are the ones that take the photo's after all, lol.... ill be flying tommorow so it'll be two days until i update this blog stay with us and there'll be photo's to match gar and clare.

... and other touristy things like that. Does anyone actually know how many rooms they use in the Houses of Parliament? We're guessing about 2. Pretty impressive building anyway though. After that we jumped on the tube for the first time of many that day....next stop: Piccadilly Circus.

Constantly while walking you have to look down to avoid the doggie dos. And even the dogs stand in queues. But they are well behaved puppies, not like Robbie.
