Breakfast in the garden and then out to wander the streets on foot leaving the car to rest today. Walked through to old Jaffa; first stop the Information Centre – closed!

Out of En Gedi and on the road to Jaffa, stopped at the Bet Gurvin site which is nowhere near anything. The site looks nothing from the surface but beneath each small pile of rocks steps lead down to vast underground caverns dug out to several stories …

... It was so special and sweet of her--we really appreciated her including us and making us feel like we belonged.

Tomorrow, we're watching the sunrise and eating breakfast in Kfar Kish, then hiking around Mt Tabor before heading to Nazareth. In the afternoon, we're heading over to the Sea of Galilee and attempting to walk on water. Wish us luck and check out a few more pictures in the slide show! ...

First things first, was nice spending the eve of my birthday with the 'closer' of the volunteers down in Tel Aviv. We decided to have a couple drinks in the city that never stops (Tel Aviv), but as it turns out, it would seem that the city came to a dramatic holt. We literally walked all over Tel Aviv trying to find a decent pub or club, but we were able to find absolutely nothing...
