    Luxury on the outside

The grounds are beautiful kept, the staff does not know much information, the pool closes at 6pm, you have to put a deposit for kitchen stuff and linens, not many jacks in the bedrooms, no lockers in room. Pretty on the outside but nothing out standing on the inside. Ill stay at another hostel for just the same ordeal and cheaper. I do recommend it for the quietness and cleaness if that is what you are after, but other hostels are quiet too and just as good.

    Top notch

Stayed for 5 days and had a great time. It's like a hotel for backpackers - clean, cheap snacks and drinks, friendly staff and just a stone's throw from Cable Beach. The only snag is that it's a bit out of town, but apart from that it comes highly recommended!

I got up and headed to Cable Beachl at 9am. Absolutely gorgeous beach- turquoise/ clear water and lovely sand! The weather was so humid and muggy that I spent most of the time in the water- which had to be the hottest sea water I've ever been in- it was just lovely!! My friend Sam came and joined me a bit later and we just sunbathed and swam most …

I got up early and caught the bus to Boulevard shopping mall where I met two of the other English girls from my tour. We wandered around the shops and area before heading back to their hostel for a drink, then I headed back to my hostel to do my huge load of washing before meeting everyone down at Cable a beach early afternoon for the sunset and watch the camel rides.

Kununurra was a great location and there is so much to see and do. Next time we will visit lake Argyle and do some work at the sandalwood plantation. But for now, it is on the road to Halls Creek. What a shock we got on the road. The landscape is stunning and so very different from what we have seen so far and the rivers, well they are big and …

Well we arrived in Broome on the 8th for a quick stock up before heading straight back out of town to Quondong Beach, just north at the start of the Dampier Peninsula. We were looking for a place to just sit for a few days and relax after our big bumpy drive. And we found it, about 20 metres from the beach under the shade of a tree with even a spot for the hammock between 2 trees! This kicked off 6 days of ...
