      Meal deal

The main reason I'm giving this a four star is because of the daily meal deal of $6.50. As a backpacker, this was luxurious. Other than that though, the staff were rude and unhelpful and the quality of the rooms were rather poor. The location is great and the atmosphere is the evening is good also, with nightly entertainment or live singers and bands.

I loved my stay at beaches. You get a 50% off meal deal voucher which is great value and the rooms all have en-suite bathrooms!

27/3/14 (Thursday) We arrive in Airlee Beach late afternoon, after spending most of the day travelling from Kroombit. We're here for two nights at Base Hostel, the rooms were lovely and spacious but wifi didn't work in the rooms, so every time I wanted to whatsapp someone I had to walk down to reception and do it (which was about 800m away so it …

Once again the happy crew came round singing at 6.30am to wake everyone up for breakfast! We headed to a different part of the island for some fun activities. The crew set the slide up on the boat which was awesome!! I had a go at paddle boarding around the water which was fab! I attempted to do several flips off the boats diving board but always …
