83 km today, and I didn't even get lost once, and if you see the title to this entry, that's a bloody miracle. Bring the mall game on. Who would have thought I would voluntarily get up at 6:30 in the morning, to work out for 6 1/2 hours, with only the odd little stop to walk on the beach or snack? I stopped in Kilmore Quay to snap some shots of the sun shining on the pretty boats. Yeah...you read that right...the sun was shining on the pretty boats. No rain. Sun, beautiful warm shiny sun. ... hearing aid) towards me and once he recognised the Gorey March, started tapping along. 'Hmm. Hmm,' he nodded his appreciation in time. 'I can tell you've been practising all right,' he stated when I'd finished, and he leant over and pulled out his own fiddle - older than himself - from under the tv stand. I couldn't decide which was the bigger compliment - the words, or the actions. With no hint of arthritis, but with the ...

They are both delicious, and are integral the traditional Irish breakfast. Our breaky this morning is a hefty one, consisting of bacon, sausage, pudding, eggs, tomatoes, bread and hash browns, all of which are considered integral to the traditional breakfast with the exception of the hash browns. Clonmel, Tipperary, Ireland jmckerricher... British mind you, so I'm inclined to think option B was more likely.
I chuckled to myself as I spotted a girl, about 7 or 8, sitting across from me. She was half-finished her dinner, and was inspecting the chocolate mousse with an expression that bordered between confused and disgusted. She took a couple curious bites, then pushed it away.

We managed to sort out the car hire, however Avis was way out of town. We had to take the DART out west and walk about 7 minutes, again poor Amy lugged her backpack out that way!! We picked up our black Kia Rio we dubbed Seamus and headed to Waterford. I was a bit nervous hadn't driven for about 2 months and there were some very strange markings on the roads!!! Lucky they drive on the same side of the road as us!! lol
We also hired a GPS system.. dubbed ...
... Wow, if we did not turn into the drive we would have driven straight onto the beach. We were that close to the water. Sweet.
Driving down the lane (long driveway) we passed strange striped cows in a pasture. Then we passed a smattering of sheep. As we continued we saw two people working with the sheep and joked that our B&B host was out there in the cold wind. After about 1km we reached the house. It ...

cork, County cork, Ireland lylyetsophieArrived in Ireland at 0820 in the morning. Since we were driving the island, we went to pick up our rental car from Enterprise. It was off-site, so we took the shuttle bus there. The car rental was a relatively easy process. I started off driving and it was weird getting used to driving on the opposite side of the road. To get to our first destination, we were thrust right into highway driving ...

After this disappointment we spent the afternoon at Waterford crystal taking a tour which gave us an idea of how the products are made and looking at the selection of crystal on sale in the shop.

< br>Despite being planned for months, when it came to the crunch I really hadn’t had any time to get ready for my trip to Ireland, what with all the normal last minute pressures of getting work done and dusted before going on two weeks leave. But then with our late afternoon flight to Dublin delayed by an hour, the complimentary ticket handed to ...
