... acres of a tropical paradise leading down to a lighted, grotto type swimming pool. We were greeted with a chorus from mating Kookaburra birds. Not pretty but most unusual. As the name suggests, the theme of the place, the art, the furnishings, the lighting are all Mexican. Our host invited us for a drink and we sat and chatted with another couple staying here.

... a shortcut, the chances are you will end up walking three times futher than you needed to, he has found us a lot of shortcuts this trip, each one indelibly printed in my brain, not that I'm complaining............really.......... .......well just a little:-)

... a good place to be for that!. The next night there was a bon fire and the night after we all headed back out to the beach for a beach party! They had a pretty sweet stereo built into a trash can and tiki torches that were all set up on the beach.

... arrived at our home for the next 2 nights. Unable to check in until 12pm we stored our luggage and headed out to explore the area, after a short walk along the beach we came across Coffs creek, a shallow tidal inlet creating an area for families to bath, canoe, and relax. ... it, hair, skin, feet! Skin felt soooo good afterwards. Bumped into Steve a guy I met in Byron, such a small world! We then went to Eli Creek, a sacred place where the Aboriginal women used to give birth. The trees and ferns there were so impressive. After lunch it was time for the group to part ways.
