Bangkok, it seems like everything starts, ends or is linked to something else there. On the 25th of January we took a bus to Bangkok, to do a bit
of shopping and move on to a national park in the south. Nora, Marco and Molch stayed in this really nice hostel the first time with a pool terrace. So we went back to go to the market and jump into …
Its my first night in Bangkok. After some lovely Indian experiences on an Jet Airways I arrived at half one on Sunday afternoon (22/4/12) . Strangely its was very hot. I got picked up from the airport by Juan, the TEFL coordinator and AYC HR. She was very nice, and I got a lovely jasmine welcome flower trinket thinge from her (oh so cultural). I am …
Made it here alive at 8am on the overnight train. Was quite good really, like flying 1st class (I'm guessing). Got a Tuk Tuk to Koh San road and found a room for the 3 of us, nice place.

How has this hostel rated in the past?
I do not have enough good things to say about BanSabai, the only negative would be the distance from the sights. Aside from that my stay was immediately pleasant when they upgraded me from a dorm, to a twin room free of charge!
The rooftop infinity pool was relaxing, quiet, and provided a wonderful view of the Bangkok skyline.
The nearby restaurant, provided excellent food and the owner was very nice as well as the patrons. They made me feel at home in such an overwhelming city, so far from home.
