Tuesday 22nd March was the longest day of our lives! It started in Fiji and ended in LA! When we touched down in LA it was midday Tuesday but should have been 10am ish Wednesday, but because we'd gone back 19 hours it was still only Tuesday! As it was pretty strange for our heads and bodies this was our food diary for the day. Breakfast was toast …

After finally making it to LA, we didn't do much expect walk Hollywood Bld and then head back to our room to hit our beds! We were in an 8 person dorm and as luck would have it our room (it had 2 bedrooms) was in the same room as the living room... awesome! Suprisingly it wasn't too noisy, either that or we were so tired we crashed out!

Welcome to Hollywood
Very early start today (4am) so I could be on time for my flight. I can't believe that my time in Colombia is already over. Despite the fact that safety is always a bit of an issue (especially if you compare it to Asia), I really enjoyed it here would definitely come back if the opportunity comes along.

For how much you pay, this is a really good spot! It feels slightly like the dodgy end of Hollywood Blvd, but in saying that I felt perfectly safe the whole time. Clean bathrooms, luggage storage available, all good! Definitely worth giving it a go.

I didn't have the best experience in this hostel, I was in room 104 so if you wanted an early night it was difficult due to people congregating in the garden area. Make sure you ask for a blanket as the rooms get cold at night. It's very noisy in the evenings with the entertainment they put on. didn't find other travelers very welcoming, friendly helpful staff
