the people who work there come from all over the world. Everyone is friendly, there is a very chill vibe around this place. They organise lots of free or cheap activites and make sure you have a good time during your stay in L.A. The rooms are clean and you have enough space for your luggage, clothes,...

For how much you pay, this is a really good spot! It feels slightly like the dodgy end of Hollywood Blvd, but in saying that I felt perfectly safe the whole time. Clean bathrooms, luggage storage available, all good! Definitely worth giving it a go.

I didn't have the best experience in this hostel, I was in room 104 so if you wanted an early night it was difficult due to people congregating in the garden area. Make sure you ask for a blanket as the rooms get cold at night. It's very noisy in the evenings with the entertainment they put on. didn't find other travelers very welcoming, friendly helpful staff

The next morning on the 12th of August we woke up after a pretty successful sleep considering the jet lag. The hostel provided free breakfast which was cool. The food was pretty unexciting but does have the awesome factor of not having to make it.

After eating breakfast Rebekah managed to get hold of her Mothers cousin who happens to live …

On the morning of our flight to Los Angeles we were staying with Elvira and her two children Lucas and Daniel. They had kindly let us stay with them for the night. Elvira offered to drop us off to the airport as she also had to drop Lucas at kindy which was over the same side of town. Once at the airport we checked in to our flight to LA. We were …

        Hello guys

I have to say my 6 days in Los Angeles has gone really really quick! Anywhere here is my thoughts on the city!

According to wikitravel ( a pretty good site I use when travelling) the things that most people who come to LA want to do is Hollywood, Universal studios and Venice Beach so I will review these elements first!< …

        Downtown LA

Well I'm in downtown LA and frankly I am disapointed. I expected Sodom and Gomorrah; and at least pollution; instead I got a nice cool evening breeze and a quiet and nearly deserted area of businesses and hotels. Classic weekend CBD; a few hotel restaurants open but nothin' goin' down my man! How did I end up here when I should be in San Diego? ...
