Long Live the King!

We were back at the hotel long enough to clean up and head back out for the big celebration – fireworks and all – near Democracy Square. As we hit the area the streets we were swarmed by thousands of well-wishing Thais in the King’s yellow. Street food was everywhere as were all the trappings of a theme park – big-as-a-cloud bunch of balloons (think Mickey, Minnie, Angry Birds, Hello Kitty, etc), cotton candy, hair bands ...
The Last Part...
Every journey needs an ending and this one finishes where it began, in Bangkok. It's amazing how quickly 7 months can go by but it did and I was blessed that it went so well. And after that long traveling, it was time to kick back, take it extremely easy and enjoy Bangkok one last time!
But this isn't going to be another long-winded entry, just a wrap-up so that I can have a final entry to this blog and to let everyone know that ...
Ankunft Thailand
... geben ihr Gepäck ab, bekommen eine Bordkarte und müssen sich ganz doll beeilen. Ich stehe immer noch ganz verdutzt da.... Ohne Bordkarte, mit Gepäck und der Flieger ist voll.... Na toll....
