Great hostel with excellent amenities. The common-room is a great place to meet people and the dorms are also of great quality. The staff here is extremely friendly and is willing to help with anything you can ever imagine.

      Setting the standard

I stayed in two other K's hostels and this one is of the same standard for sure. I got 500Y discount with my stamp card. Bunk beds are comfortable and plenty of space to leave your backpack. They have a nice rooftop terrace where you can relax. Showers and bathrooms are clean and common area is very welcoming. Location close to the station is great. . . Recommended.

So far it's been great! The ladies at the front desk were super cheerful and extremely helpful. They helped us figure out what to do in Hiroshima, how to get around and helped us book our next bus to Kyoto. The hostel is extremely clean and the common room is pretty sweet. The hostel was in walking distance to everything and so far we've been very pleased.

      Convenient and friendly hostel

I chose K's House because it is very closed to Hiroshima station. We just followed the tram line. Very convenient as this hostel is in the middle of the city. There is 711 store closed to the hostel. We just need to walk 20 minutes to Genbaku dome.

The hostel waas very clean and the front desk was very helpful. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. Even though you have to share a bathroom with everyone on your floor it is very clean and everybody picks up after themselves. I met many new people that I hope to stay in contact with. A great way to meet people from around the world. Also a great experience to try something new.

We went to bed on our last night in Kyoto to the news of another Typhoon heading up through Japan. This would be the second in the space of our 2 week trip! We expected the rain and high winds to hit us in the morning as we went to catch our Shinkansen to Hiroshima so we had everything wrapped up tight and as waterproofed as we possibly could! …

You may, or equally may not have noticed that the number of entries has declined a tad in recent weeks, this is largely because there is so much to do in Japan, and two weeks seems woefully inadequate; so sitting in front of a computer has not been a priority, anyway here goes.

Warning, I will attempt to keep this short because I don't have too much time to write this and I want to catch up before I forget.

Another early morning, I ate breakfast at 7:30am and checked out of my room, but left my backpack at the hotel, which is just a 6 minute walk from Hakata Station.

I started off in the direction of a …
