To Sydney

Arriving into Sydney, the first thing I saw from the plane was a sign for Macdonalds. Perhaps a sign for having reached the other side of the western world. Or at least it would be if the Golden arches didn't already rule the world. It's a nice feeling to be able to walk down the street without being stared at and even pointed at through whispered glares. After yet another overnight bus journey (our last for a while), we arrived in Sydney Central at 7:30am for our second visit to the city. Having exhausted ourselves totally last time by walking everywhere, our first purchase was a travelpass allowing us unlimited bus, train and ferry trips for a week. Came back here from surfer's paradise. Supposed to leave directly from the bus station to airport. It was the furst day flights were allowed back in the us. Nate and Adam got off with some trouble, but my ticket ended up in my parents suitcase so i had to wait until monday to go to the quantas office to get a ticket re issued. Ooooowwwww.... thats how I feel this week... how damn pathetic am I, two days of hard labour and I am left about as useless as an inflatable dartboard and probably as delicate.
