The boyfriends flew into Lima on the 11th so to we headed from Paracas to Lima early morning and managed to get on a bus from side of road very quickly. The conductor on board wrote down our details for the ticket from our passports and mistook our surnames to be "British", so i suppose it made more sense when he asked if we were sisters (which we …

Lima llama Lima

Lima llama Lima is MASSIVE. 70% of the Peruvian population live there.

Also, the taxi drivers are MENTAL. Serves us right for bartering our taxi man down to the last penny on arrival at Lima airport. Seriously, his car looked more like a giant golf ball. That said, his unique traffic bouncing skills got us to our hostel in the Miraflores …

We stayed here twice for convenience - good communal bathrooms, bedrooms could be a bit cleaner. Owner very friendly on first visit but decidedly frosty on our second. Hostal is a good 15 minute walk to nearest half decent restaurant. Fine for a couple of nights.
