... assumed the charges would be reasonable.
The person said the cost was 160 Soles. As it was my first Peruvian bus I was unsure of the cost but it seemed that it could be reasonable if it was with one of the better companies. So I eventually got my ticket, paid the 160 Soles and looked at the ticket price - 115 Soles only! Very bad...
I went to the terminal to catch the bus and, just as I was about to go to departures, the same person that ...
... to Miami flight went extremely well! Once in Miami we found that our terminal was in another country and we had 1 hour to go out side walk to the terminal, then come back through security. Somehow I looked suspicious at this check in. Jeff walked right on through and watched on as I had the full treatment of search. So first he says "stand like this" and it took me a second to realized that I ...

And so they lived crappily ever after."
After a sleepless night we dragged our empty stomachs out for some bland breakfast and strolled slowly around (with emergency toilet paper on hand, constantly scanning for public toilets and necessary entry and exit routes). We were in the ...
... o was as knowledgeable about Lima and Peru as Manuel was a skillful driver of the difficult streets of the various districts. Negotiating the streets as he did reminded me of when I was in India (without the incessant horn honking!) - drivers moving in and out of traffic without so much as a glance at the other vehicles. No sooner had Manuel changes lanes to pass a "slower" moving car than he would whip back in to his original lane missing the car by inches I'm sure! Yet we did not see ...
Lima, Lima, Peru tp-travellers... and that we were coming to steal the eyes and organs of their children. This fear was prompted by articles about American organ-stealers in the newspaper recently, so when they saw 10 gringos walking down the road they naturally got kind of freaked out. After a minute the head of the Mother's Club in the village showed up, and read the letter Jorge had from the President of Puerto Ocopa inviting us to the village, and told the young men that if they didn't calm down ...
Lima, Lima, Peru mpbezold...

My favorite Museum is the National Museum of Antroplogy and Archaeology because it displays the historic development of Peru through a collection of archaelogical finds. More than 100,000 pieces from pre-Hispanic Peruvian cultures are arranged ...
... a place which has attracted westerners more with the abundance of alcohol than any other reason. I ordered a beer and had a chat with a couple of Irish guys propping up the bar. They all turned out to be smart, down-to-earth guys, who remained reasonably articulate despite the late hour. It was a sharp reminder that I should be slower with my judgements. All the same, I was in bed shortly afterwards. Lima´s reputation as a boring city preceeds it, and I ...
Lima, Peru belahanratty... sore by the end of it. With these fearless little boys, we would take them by the hand, let the tide knock us over, swallow us in a bit and then spit us back out...over and over again. It was hilarious especially when it started to look like a mass game of human bowling. The boys loved it and that was the coolest part. I formed a particular attachment to a little fattie called Alonso who was eight and just gorgeous. If adoptment will be a ...
