First night, Germany
My first night was in Bamberg ,Germany! I stayed in a place called backpackers Bamberg... We went exploring the city and went to a local festival.

Découverte de la campagne bambergeoise
Après une très grasse matinée, nous avons enfourché des vélos loués à seulement 8,50 euros (qui a dit que tout était cher en Allemagne?) pour faire un circuit de 37 km qui nous a conduit à Pettstadt, Frensdorf et Burgebach. ... stop was in the nearby Rose Garden, laid out in the 18th century, which overlooks the Old Town. There are over 4500 rose bushes in the garden, with many still in bloom despite the lateness of the season. A lot of the rose varieties had German names and weren't ones I recognized.

This morning we had some free time before docking in Hassfurt around noon, so we did some laundry and found a way to hang it over the ac vent to help it dry faster (photo attached). We boarded busses in Hassfurt for about a 30 drive through the German countryside to the town of Bamberg--the trees are changing colors and it was very scenic.
