Peaceful Phuket

A travel blog entry by ollieandstephen

We arrived in Phuket after 12 hours of travelling and after a long nights sleep we woke to the company of bedbugs which were squished before they could have a meal. That day we relaxed and had our laundry done for the pricy sum of 3 pounds. We enjoyed breakfast with coffee and smoothies before playing numerous games of chess of which continued for …

Left patong for Phuket town

A travel blog entry by stewartkristy

Taxi wouldn't drive to kata beach without accommodation booked so stopped off to find some where. Found hotel called the Patong Gallery for 1300 bht the night. Nice hotel, fairly central. Left early to phuket town to find Phuket backpackers, central, basic and comfy. Day spent touring around the town. Saw many temples and queen Sirkits 70th birthday preside of gardens and large golden dragon.

Bangkok Flight out was overall great except for an horrific transfer at Mumbai airport, so disorganised. When we finally arrived it was early Wednesday morning so we got a cab to our …
