... to the Hindu temple located just beside the Buddhist one, it is not as pack as the Buddhist one but I see some devotes praying in the temple itself. I also see some Buddhist light up joss sticks at the Hindu temple praying furthermore the temple I visited near bencoolen street is one of the famous hindu temple in Singapore.

... they came again just to be put back on! It is a lot more effort than first anticipated. We were told we could get a shuttle bus to out hostel but a lady explained it would involve just a drop off and we would have to walk to find our hostel, so we decided to get a taxi.

... the merciless sun and came to a stop at the Sri Mariamman temple which was already quite crowded in the morning. We tried to take a picture of the beautiful architecture inside the temple, only to spot the "No photography allowed" signage. Ohwellllllll at least we managed to snap a couple pictures outside the temple. Still worth it though~

Not long later, we could hear our tummies rumbling ...

... goodies we had been supplied with on the plane from emirates, who were also brilliant. Once in Singapore, we didn't quite have a clue what day it was let alone the time. The kids would ask what country are we in now, which was a little strange. We got our limo service (sounds posher than what it was) to our hotel, where we were checked in & bags taken to a lovely room. The kids were excited to see the bunk beds & Alice was just excited to have freedom. ...
