... a real fear we have had in the other cities. We used the subway (MRT) to get around, and also walked everywhere as it was very clean, safe and the people were very friendly. We walked at night through the the downtown area, which is not something that we would have attempted in other cities. And when we asked our concierge for things to do in the city, nothing was off limits as it was all safe for unfamiliar people traveling though the city. There is ...

... Singapore. I have to say, after five days, I would get a little anxious to escape the constant crush of people. I think that was why going to the nature reserve and walking home through empty parks with Daphne were so valued.
Daphne and I assembled our own salads for dinner later and I went to Four Seasons Durians and bought a tiny crepe/pancake with chilled durian folded inside. It was delightful and pure! Four Seasons offered a massive selection of durian items that ...

... was brilliant! It was a kind of a 3d simulator where we had to protect the allstar (think that's what it's called!) It was a roller coaster but didn't go too far probably just back and forward a few times on different platforms but I absolutely loved it! I met Paul outside when it was over.

After having some lunch, we went to Waterworld which was an action play in a big swimming pool. There was a soaked and splash zone (which we avoided!) and before it started ...

... It was so hot.

I still couldn't sleep.

We went to the night zoo after tea it opens at 7.30pm. There were lots of noisy lions and tall giraffes. It was dark and hot and there were too many people. I was too tired and could hardly stay awake on the tram.

I fell asleep in the taxi home and Dad had to carry me up to our room to bed.

The End
