... easy to travel in. We landed, found the subway at the airport. Got a pass at a ticket machine and traveled to a suburb near downtown. In this City-Nation with limited land space, the suburb is 60 story apartment buildings.

... Singapore in 1963. In 1965 Singapore was expelled from Malaysia by the mainland. The British had ruled for 144 years. Singapore's split from the mainland certainly seems to have benefitted them as we see Singapore today.
