Hermitage Bound

... shop, bought a couple of prints and a great book on St Petersburg.

I left the Hermitage footsore but very happy. I stopped off at the hostel for a bit before meeting Elena at Ligovsky Prospekt to go to a couch surfers get together she invited me to. ... 8216;home’ for the duration of our European excursions.

Dodging late Friday night partygoers walking home & accepting directions from a (we presume homeless) dude, we find the hostel without too much fuss. Only 1 major street & a lane way back from the train station. It’s in a very central posy, very near to the infamous Nevsky Prospekt- Russia's most famous street & other sights/ landmarks/attractions on our list to check out.
