23 hour flight, easy!
Scrutinised at airport security once again, claiming 'nothing to declare' status before I even leave the country, as he scans my laptop with a swab and tells me it has to be rescanned. Still wiping my tears with my scarf...Not sad tears my eyes were just leaking!
The 10 hours on route to Korea breeze by, I watch excitedly as the hosties …

Sunday 8th May
So we finally made it to Australia! Firstly we have to mention the flight from Singapore on the Airbus A380 which was amazing, first time we have been on a plane where you actually get a controller for the TV even though it is only a foot in front of your face. The food was a cut above the normal ryanair fayre we are used to …
Sydney Baby!
23 Hours after leaving Inglewood on a bus, we arrived in Sydney tired hungry and with no idea what way the hostel we had book was. After about 20mins of buggering around we finally decided to start walking and ask for directions. It was great being back in a city which had more than 20 people in it and by the looks of it... No sheep!

I personally could't wait to get out. But a hostels a hostel at the end of the day. My first shower in 48 hours was freezing cold and there was not one single hook in the dirty bathroom to hang anything so your towel and clothes got covered in all the bathroom gunk. Our loud chinese dorm mates kept us awake all the hours. The funny notices around, from Thai head receptionist Anne, clean your loom, or we kick out you' were really entertaining though. The social/television area was nice and sociable.
