    Best hostel I've stayed in!

Fantastic hostel - great location, wonderful staff, exceptionally comfy and clean rooms and facilities, AND you're able to hire surfboards, bodyboards, paddle boards and kayaks for free!! Amazing!
Only negative I could find was that in a room of 6 people there were only 4 lockers available, but at least there were any!
    Would definitely stay again!!

The hostel was perfect! Rooms clean and large, enough showers except when everybody came from "sunset kayaking" and wanted to shower all at the same time. Free boards and stuff to enjoy the water. A little outside the center (15 min walk) close to a lovely path (that leads to the city centre) along a river. I saw a kingfisher there fishing! The staff is very helpful, kitchen well organised, and there is even a little swimming pool ;-) And, free wifi!

Great hostel inbetween town (15mins walk) and beach (10mins walk). Mini bus is waiting for you when you get off greyhound, even at 6.20am. Was able to checkin at 8am and get into bed, much appreciated after night coach. Sausage BBQ on Wed, $3, very social. Great small hostel. Clean and friendly. Free Canoes for river across the road! $5 bike hike. Excellent.

A Denzel love-in and even more runner-up trophies!

A travel blog entry by mattchurch7 on Aug 23, 2015

Yet another two weeks have flown by, and the intention of writing a blog every 10 days has failed to be met AGAIN! Alas, here we are again. Tuesday 11th began in what I thought was routine fashion, dropping off 2 people for the 5:25am bus. However, between the hostel and the coach stop, I learnt that one of the two girls who I driving, was the …

I aim to write a blog every 10 days, so that it doesn't get on top of me and I then have to spend hours writing about weeks on end. However I failed slightly this time, it's been over 2 weeks...doesn't time fly when you are having fun?! Monday 27th began with an early drop off for 2 people at the 5:25am bus, followed by another tennis session with …

To quote the famous words of my mum when she calls me, "hello, it's only me"! Checking in again from Coffs Harbour, it's blog time once more (lucky you...). Wednesday 15th began with going to meet the 5:25am Greyhound coach, only to discover that nobody actually got off here despite being told 2 were alighting (big word!) here. Could have chuffing …

    Blueberry Barry

Mini bus Matt is back again, hi to everyone who bothers to read this! I began working again on Dave's blueberry farm on Sunday 5th July, and picked 6.5 buckets. However one of the other guys from another party told Simon (from Aussitel like me), that they were being paid $12 per hour, rather than $7 per bucket! So after Simon queried this, the …

    Mini Bus Matt

A travel blog entry by mattchurch7 on Jul 04, 2015

Hello again! As mentioned last time, I'm now the mini bus driver for pick ups & drop offs for Aussitel hostel, for people getting on and off both the Greyhound and Premier coaches. There is a bus at 5:25am which means I wake up at 4:45am and leave here at 5am. There's also a 10:50pm bus which means I leave here at 10:30pm. The meeting point is less …
