      Best hostel I've stayed in!

Fantastic hostel - great location, wonderful staff, exceptionally comfy and clean rooms and facilities, AND you're able to hire surfboards, bodyboards, paddle boards and kayaks for free!! Amazing!
Only negative I could find was that in a room of 6 people there were only 4 lockers available, but at least there were any!
      Would definitely stay again!!

Well managed relaxed hostel with atmosphere

The hostel was perfect! Rooms clean and large, enough showers except when everybody came from "sunset kayaking" and wanted to shower all at the same time. Free boards and stuff to enjoy the water. A little outside the center (15 min walk) close to a lovely path (that leads to the city centre) along a river. I saw a kingfisher there fishing! The staff is very helpful, kitchen well organised, and there is even a little swimming pool ;-) And, free wifi!

Great hostel inbetween town (15mins walk) and beach (10mins walk). Mini bus is waiting for you when you get off greyhound, even at 6.20am. Was able to checkin at 8am and get into bed, much appreciated after night coach. Sausage BBQ on Wed, $3, very social. Great small hostel. Clean and friendly. Free Canoes for river across the road! $5 bike hike. Excellent.

Woke up to nice and sunny weather, so too the chance to go and rent a canoe!
There was a trolly to transport the canoe, which was handy and even more that there was a jetty to launch it. Ari wasn’t too happy about the canoe wobbling about, but managed to get it. The current was really strong, so we headed down river towards the beach to …

Woke up to rain! Got asked if we wanted to go on a guided kayak down the river, but we declined, we wanted to go on our own. Went and had some breakfast, then got a kayak out.
Had to walk a little way with it then plop it in the water. Ari wasn’t too sure about getting in, but managed it fine. There wasn’t any rain at this point, …

Woke up at 6am to head to see the dolphins in the harbour, got there about 6:30am.
Went around to the side where we’d seen the koala statues and waited on a bench. Saw lots of pelicans and cormorants going about, then about 7am we saw a fin. There was a woman on a paddle board that seemed to know where they were and was always heading …

I arrived in Coffs Harbour late afternoon and was given a quick tour of the area by the guy who picked me up. We went up to the lookout point and I could see why I'd been told to stop here. It showed a beautiful harbour with two little islands you can walk out to and mountains in the background. I checked into the hostel and made my way to the 6 …
