... we had just had our minds blown over on Frioul because of the views, and up here we were looking at the same scene from a different angle, and it blew our minds again. The Winds of Toulon
... the weather was clearing, the winds had really picked up. Frankly the thought of the ferry boat in these winds was not very pleasant…. Sorry I stopped taking my sea sickness pills! After some walking around La Seyne, we found the ferry boat stop (not very well marked) and within minutes we were on the ferry boat to Toulon. Thankfully the ride was pretty smooth even with the wind.

OK place - bad time to go
We missed the summer lavender fields. If you really dig modern painting, Aix-en-Provence may hold some charm. Not a bad town, just nothing really spectacular.
