A large detailed rug can take one woman 3-4 hours every day for 6 months.

Amazing Sand Dunes, Less than Amazing Village
... siesta b/c the on/off bus sleep wasn't quite sufficient. Then, we decided to find the "city" of Merzouga...after what was supposed to be about 30 minutes, but was really closer to 90 minutes of desert walking through sand and hot sun, we finally arrived in the not so bustling town of Merzouga. We paid a kid about .$50 to help us find a restaurant....b/c we were famished from our desert walk.

... 283;co ukáže. To něco byl výhled z opravdu dost velké duny, sotva jsme se na ni vyškrábaly, poslední třetinu strmé cesty nahoru jsem lezla po čtyřech... Nahoře na duně bylo pár lidí z jiného tábora, měli tu rozdělaný ohýnek a s místními průvodci hráli na bubínky a jakési podivný berberský nástroj. Chvíli jsme poseděli, zkusili, jestli se nám povede nějak libozvučně rozezvučet nástroje ...
