    Great roof top area

My booking was for a room in a different building and I quickly changed that on arrival becasue the 'other building' was very scary. I stayed in the main building and it was nice. Had a great hang out area and a lovely roof top lounge. I would stay here again.

I woke up feeling infinitely fresher. After stepping outside on my balcony, I noted 3 things: 1, the city was huge. The buildings are packed tight and stretch as far as the eye can see, a valley of white rooftops ringed by mountains, a little overwhelming. 2, despite earlier thinkings, my door wasn't broken. Apparently European doors open both from …

Follow on from last post... The catacombs, interesting but not really my idea of a good time. Below Paris is another Paris, mapped out just like the above ground Paris thanks to Neapolian. As I made my way down many stairs I realised just how creepy this was... Going down below Paris to see millions of dead bodies/bones from the plague era. Most of …

After many months of planning we have finally arrived at our first destination, Athens Greece.

After our flight we navigated our way to our hostel using the metro and our trusty lonely planet guide, had a quick meal (soulvaki ofcouse) and called it a night.
As we went to check out the next morning we discovered that there was a strike …

    Recovering from too much Fun

A travel blog entry by travelbugs3 on Sep 17, 2012

Day 130: Today was travel day, it took about 10 hours to get back to Athens, but it went pretty quick and it was fun. A group of us (Sarah, Trent, Geromie and Mel) just played card games and Monopoly for the majority of the trip since if we went to sleep we wouldn't have slept when we got back. We got back to the hostel at about 1am and crashed …
