STUFF TO DO
Admittedly I only stayed in Prague for three nights so didnt really get a chance to absorb myself into the atmosphere - generally I ticked off the touristy stuff which you can soon see if you pick up a City Spy map. We walked around the grounds , then were going to go into the church, but there was a wedding going on, and once again we were not invited in, so we went for lunch. The guy in his eatery had basically no English, , so he was trying to describe what he had, and I guess I asked too many questions, and ...

Time to climb some towers in Prague

A travel blog entry by zoe13 on May 07, 2014

... on the afternoon tour of the castle with him. We saw most of the old city, the Jewish quarter as well as the new city despite it in fact being 300 years old! The tour started at the bottom of the astronomical clock, which has been voted the most disapointing tourist attraction in Europe. It certainly wasn't my favourite part of Prague, but I can certainly appreciate the history behind it and what was required build it in the 15th century. After walking though the caslte and ...
